Successfully identifying endometrial cancer patients who have a low risk for metastases and cervical invasion can help them bypass radical surgery and lymphadenectomy. This retrospective study supports the tumor antigen CA-125 , which is known to be elevated in endometrial cancer, for preoperatively pinpointing women at high risk for disease recurrence or death as the most suitable candidates for more aggressive treatment.
