Atrial fibrillation and premature contractions are generally benign in the absence of structural heart disease. 


DO NOT IGNORE
nonsustained ventricular tachycardia or syncope in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) or severe left ventricular dysfunction (LVD), possible harbingers of sudden death.
